This kit includes everything you need to improve the wireless cell phone signal in a small building up to 1200 square feet. This kit is using Wilson's popular 801245 SOHO amplifier together with a special outside antenna designed for rural mountainous areas. The amplifier uses 3 watts to communicate with the cell tower and is ideal for rural settings where the towers are up to 50 miles away. The short pipe antenna helps by not only communicating in 360 degrees horizontally, but also transmitting vertically making it the ideal antenna for situations where there are obstructions like tall trees or mountains nearby. The 801245 amplifier only requires 20 ft of separation between the inside and outside antennas making it also and ideal choice for trailers and cabins.
This in-building amplifier is 50 dB and suitable for home/small building use. It improves cell phone voice and data reception, adding bars of signal to your phone and increased data transfer speeds. It also helps prevent dropped calls. It doesn't require a direct connection to your phone, but rather works wirelessly. It can also work for multiple users at the same time. This amplifier is dual band, meaning that it works with the two major North American frequency ranges 850 and 1900 and it will work with almost all major carriers with the exception of Iden/Nextel.
